How many miles to Jerusalem?

During Lent, the Muskogee district will be going on a pilgrimage, free of charge! You can sign up at the Lay Leadership workshop in Wagoner next Sunday (Feb. 18). Pledge a certain amount of miles that you will covenant to walk during the season of Lent, and we'll pile our miles together to see if we can make it to Jerusalem (around 6800 miles). Hopefully we'll be able to make it back too!

Along the way, you can check in to this website to see the progress we've made--you can also report how many miles you've walked each week so we can see where we have made it to on our virtual pilgrimage. Invite the people in your church and the folks in your community to join you! We'll keep record of everyone who's participating so we can have a sort of Canterbury Tales Oklahoma style along the way!

Welcome to our Journey! You are invited to use this website not only to track your miles, but to encourage and receive fellowship from one another! This is meant for a time of spiritual discipline and community can be helpful as we move toward our goal. I know we got started late on this due to a delayed LCLW, but all that matters is that we get started! Start with your pledge and then get going! See you on the journey....
